It's that time of year again, when all the high school students get excited about college and actually have an opportunity to spend a weekend at Rutgers on the special interest floor of Latin Images. As always, follow the link above for HS Outreach to sign up and obtain all the information needed.

HS Outreach Program Updated

There are new instructions on the site, including where to mail forms to, under the HS Outreach link above. The page has been updated with information such as the mail to address, a fax number, and driving directions. Head over to the page now if you are signing up for the High School Outreach Program or just want information.

High School Outreach Program


Latin Image's High School Outreach Program for Fall '06 has been announced for Friday, October 20 - Sunday, October 22. The High School Outreach Program is a program that LI hosts twice a year, once in the Fall and Spring, and whose goal is to give high school students the opportunity of experiencing college life. During their time on campus, high school students will dorm with current members of LI, attend various programs to educate them on what to expect of college, and interact with college students. Behind Schedule...

Sorry everybody, if you haven't noticed the site didn't make a full recovery like I hoped it would before classes started. The floor members section and gallery are of top priority, our Latino community is full of beautiful people and I know you want to see the pictures.

On another note, there is a floor meeting tonight for the members of Latin Images and it will be held in the lounge at 10pm.

A Star in the Making

If you've attended Rutgers University before this coming Fall semester then you most likely know Yradier Tejada, better known as Lito. He plays a big part in Rebecca's Window, an independent film being released soon, and you can view the trailer now on YouTube.com. The website is currently experiencing some technical difficulty, but as soon as it returns there will be a link posted. Also, classes are beginning just around the corner and the website is scheduled to fully launch by Tuesday, September 5.
